About NSSA

NSSA promotes youth soccer throughout the Roseville Area and Mounds View public school districts in the north metro area of the Twin Cities of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota. This large area includes residents of Arden Hills, Falcon Heights, Lauderdale, Little Canada, Maplewood, Mounds View, New Brighton, North Oaks, Roseville, Shoreview and Vadnais Heights, Minnesota.

We are volunteers serving approximately 1800 youth through organized In-House recreational soccer leagues for ages 6 through 18 and Traveling teams for ages 9 through 18. We welcome you to our Club!

Mission Statement

NSSA is devoted to providing the boys and girls with a positive environment in which they can learn and enjoy the game of soccer. The NSSA endeavors to:

  • Teach the concept of competition that emphasizes the importance of teamwork and good sportsmanship, and the need to acquire decision making skills; the value of such skills will go beyond the soccer field, and will help the players to develop as young adults.

  • Encourage the players to challenge themselves to do the best they can do, to compete against their own potential, to work to continually improve their skills and to realize that measuring improvement is not done by focusing on winning and losing, but by the gains made as a result of effort.

  • Incorporate fun into the mix of instruction, training, conditioning and competition to give the players the best setting to develop their soccer skills, perform to their potential and look forward to playing soccer into the future.
