]]> http://www.nssasoccer.org/home/626780.html 05/07/2012 09:51 AM http://www.nssasoccer.org/home/623464.html The NSSA Storm U11C2 Girls won their bracket in the NSC Spring Cup Challenge held in Blaine May 5th-6th, 2012.  The girls coached by Stacy Nelson, Pete Gontarek, and Mike Feist tied their first game 2-2 against the Blackhawks, won their 2nd game against CC United 4-1, and won their 3rd game Sunday morning against Golden Valley 2-1. The played in the Championship game Sunday afternoon where they played the Blackhawks again for a 4-0 win and shut out in the C2 bracket.  Congratulations girls and keep up the good work!

]]> http://www.nssasoccer.org/home/623464.html 05/03/2012 11:42 AM http://www.nssasoccer.org/home/622596.html The NSSA 16BC2 Team won its bracket in the 2012 Blaine Break-Out Tournament, held April 27-29.  Coached by Tim Boje, the boys defeated Waconia 1-0, Rochester Galaxy 1-0 and then lost to Lakes United 2-0 in group play. Through to the semi-finals, NSSA defeated CC United 2-1 in extra time and defeated Valley United Eagles 1-0 in the championship game. A 4-1 record to start the season!! Congratulations to the team and Coach Boje! Good luck as league play begins in May!

]]> http://www.nssasoccer.org/home/622596.html 05/03/2012 11:27 AM http://www.nssasoccer.org/home/614078.html Phil Fehlen, coach of the Boys NSSA U9 Gold team, recently completed his United States Soccer Federation E-Certificate.  He achieved this by attending sessions offered through the Minnesota Youth Soccer Association (MYSA.)  The E-Certificate reflects an 18 hour personal commitment of time, and a successful completion of a test –recently added to the E-Certificate program. The course is physically and mentally demanding.  Coaches who have completed the E-Certificate are in a better position to develop soccer players through increased knowledge, confidence, and delivery.  Please join us in congratulating Phil on his important achievement!
