NSSA U5 - U8 Developmental Program - Session II Now Open for Registration
Sessions run Saturday mornings, July 11 thru August 15

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR SESSION II - Click on Registration Page to register

Young players (U5-U8) are at an ideal intellectual and physical stage to learn and retain both techniques and foundational tactical ideas for soccer.  NSSA has created a young player development program to lead in the growth of our community’s 5 to 8 year olds. Players will be taught technical and tactical ideas in an engaging, challenging and exciting environment. A typical session will consist of 15 minutes of technical training, 15 minutes of foundational, tactical ideas and 30 minutes of free-play overseen and enhanced by NSSA’s professional training staff. The program will provide an arena that allows for a player to take hundreds of touches on the ball each week and face situations where they will be challenged to make decisions. This program is designed to enhance your child's NSSA soccer experience and will NOT conflict with league play or teams. Please visit the Training Page for details. When registering choose either U5/6 or U7/8 program, depending upon your child's age.

About the NSSA Recreational Program

NSSA offers recreational soccer programs for boys and girls in grades 1 through 12 (ages U7 to U18) during the summer soccer season. Teams are formed in March following the registration period that opens in January and ends in late February (to be ensured placement on a team). We group ages together by grades to form separate leagues for boys and girls as follows: Grades 1 & 2 (U7/U8), Grades 3 & 4 (U9/U10), Grades 5 & 6 (U11/U12),  Grades 7 & 8 (U13/U14),  and Grades 9 thru 12 (U15-U18) leagues. The season generally ends in the last two weeks of July, and includes 8 to 10 league games and playoffs.

No tryouts are required to join any NSSA recreational soccer team. All levels of experience are welcome to NSSA Recreational Soccer!

IMPORTANT NOTICE (as of 4/8/15)Registration for the NSSA Recreational Program is now closed for the 2015 season. We have a very limited number of open positions on already formed teams and acceptance of those open positions requires immediate payment by check.
