Welcome to NSSA's Competitive Soccer Program

NSSA is one of the longest standing soccer clubs within Minnesota youth soccer.  NSSA is excited to introduce soccer players of all ages and abilities to a great development atmosphere where they will learn key fundamentals to becoming a great soccer player.  Each year NSSA fields boys and girls soccer teams in age groups ranging from U9 through U18.  Our teams continue to experience tremendous success each year, by putting the love of the game first.

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT PLAYER IDENTIFICATION: Player Identification Sessions are just one part of the NSSA process for team formation. These sessions are not the sole determinant for placement on a team. Feedback from NSSA training staff, directors and qualified coach evaluations are compiled to aid in the process. Attitude, willingness to be coached and attendance are also factors in the team formation process.

We know that team formation can be stressful and disappointing at times. NSSA exists for children in our community to have an opportunity to play the game of soccer. We try to place players on the appropriate teams so they are able to develop their skills in a fun and safe environment. At times, we run out of spots on the team that you and/or your child desires. Please understand this is not a desirable outcome from NSSA's perspective, but it is a reality and an important life lesson. Please view the attached link as a great resource for talking with your child. If you have an extenuating circumstances, please contact a club official privately to discuss the situation.  http://soccerparenting.com/2014/06/14/7-things-parents2/
