This holiday season brings with it two exciting news items we want to share with our competitive program families.

Meet our new sponsor.
First, we are proud to announce we have secured a Diamond-level sponsor for the 2019-2020 soccer seasons! Our sponsor, Tradition Capital Bank (www.tradition.bank), is located in North Oaks, adjacent to our home field at Southpointe. They also have an office in Edina. Tradition offers a full range of personal and business banking services, including checking/savings, lending and wealth management. We plan to use 100% of the funds from this sponsorship to help offset member costs in a variety of ways. The first benefit you will see relates to uniforms . . . which brings us to our second news item.

New uniform kits and training jerseys are coming soon.

The spring/summer 2019 season kicks off a new uniform cycle. We are excited to unveil the new kit designs (visit nssasoccer.org/uniforms-competitive). In addition to featuring our sponsor’s logo, the kit provides a fresh new look while staying true to the identity we established with our current uniforms.

In designing the uniforms, we incorporated feedback we received directly from our members (for example, eliminating white shorts). The reaction we’ve received so far has been extremely positive, and we are eager to see this distinctive look on our players.

We will be using a significant portion of our sponsor donation to keep the cost of the uniform kit under $150, as well as provide all competitive players with training jerseys at no added charge. Stay tuned for details on uniform ordering (coming in January).
